A Time to Dance, a Time to Laugh, a Time to Sing

A special programme of events including dance, music, drama and a photographic exhibition to celebrate the participation in Culture Night by older people.

 

Dance: Coisceim Broadreach, performers aged 50+ present a lively and lyrical dance piece following workshop attendance. Time: 7.00 – 7.15pm

 

Photography: Reception and invitation to view photographic exhibition featuring older people: “A Time to Dance” photos by Ann Henrick; text by Maeve Binchy. Time:7.15 – 7.45pm

 

Drama: “The Telephone Exchange” by Niamh Gleeson, set in 1963 follows the lives of three female operators; a light hearted play, including great showband hits. Time 7.45 – 8.00pm

 

Music: Mezzo Soprano Liz Ryan and piano accompanist Deborah Kelleher perform

“Nobody Loves a Fairy When She’s Forty” Time: 8.15 – 9.15pm
